Horse Ownership Group
Koru Thoroughbreds offers a select number of horse ownership group opportunities each year, giving investors access to well-bred, professionally managed thoroughbreds from proven bloodlines.
Whether you're an experienced racing participant or entering ownership for the first time, our horse ownership groups are structured to provide clarity, confidence, and a genuine connection to the sport.
How it works
We identify horses from quality bloodlines with strong commercial and performance prospects. Every horse offered through a Koru horse ownership group has been assessed against our own exacting standards.
Horse ownership groups are divided into a set number of shares. Each shareholder receives full documentation, regular updates, and a transparent breakdown of costs and returns.
Koru manages all aspects of the horse's preparation and placement with a trainer. You're kept informed at every stage — without the complexity of sole ownership.
Horse ownership group members are invited to key race days and receive all prizemoney distributions proportional to their share. The experience of ownership, without the full weight of it.

Why Koru
With more than 265 winners from a small broodmare band, the Taylors have demonstrated a consistent ability to identify, develop, and place quality thoroughbreds. When you invest in a Koru horse ownership group, you're backed by that record — and by a team that handles your horse as if it were their own.
Every horse ownership group is offered in limited shares, managed transparently, and supported by decades of on-the-ground breeding experience.
We are selective. A horse only becomes a Koru horse ownership group offer when it has passed our own vetting — conformation, pedigree, and commercial sense — because your name and ours are on the line together.
We will be straight with you: clear information before you commit, ongoing updates after you do, and no overselling. If an opportunity is not right for our owners or for Koru's standards, we will not put it in front of you.
